Situated by the sheltered waters of Cowpet Bay on St. Thomas's east end, this small and neighborly gated complex boasts a large freshwater pool, tennis courts for guests' use (and lighted for night play from November to June 15 only), lawns with gardens, and a white sand BEACH offering good snorkeling.
This very comfortable two-bedroom-with-loft condo with central air-conditioning is on the top floor, affording excellent breezes and a view of the lawns, gardens and ocean. It offers two bedrooms, each with its own full bath, which adjoin the open-plan living room with kitchen and dining areas, and a loft with a queen sofabed and a half bath above via a spiral staircase. A covered verandah opens out from the living room. It's an excellent vacation value for active families, located right next door to the St. Thomas Yacht Club, and conveniently situated a very short drive from other east end beaches, shopping, resorts and the St. John and Tortola ferry dock. Renting a car is not necessary at The Anchorage - you can phone a taxi to fetch you outside the electronic gate, if you wish.

2 cable TVs, DVD player, VCR, radio, games, books, central A/C, dishwasher, laundry; tennis courts (lighted for night play November to mid-June only); emergency generator for entire complex, electronic gate into complex. Charcoal grills are not permitted. Wi-Fi on the property is available at an extra charge for one day or seven or more days, and can be accessed on your laptop and paid for by credit card upon arrival - please see Rental Notes below for current rates. The use of an exercise room with workout equipment on the complex is available at no charge (please request the room's push-button code to get in).

A minimum 7-night rental is required during the HIGH SEASON and 5 nights during the LOW SEASON for most Caribbean villas. However, a 7-night minimum at full Thanksgiving rate required on all rentals which occur during any portion of the Thanksgiving holiday week.
